Game Rules:
The WhoDunit Game Rules are simple.
- Players must bring a collaborative and courteous demeanor to the table. If a player offends another player or disrupts the group’s progress, he/she will be muted; able to see the team’s discussions but not participate during that time. A second offense will result in the offending player being removed from the team.
- No spoilers without clear warnings
Whodunit Game Etiquette
- Players are not allowed to contact each other outside of chat room hours until the final manuscripts have been submitted.
- After all stories have been submitted, they be posted on the WhoDunit page for all to read and vote on (via a posted poll.)
- The winning team will receive custom game t-shirts and TSP travel mugs.
- At the end of the year, the winning team’s stories will be published in an anthology and team members will receive a byline (be listed as the authors of their respective stories.)
- All stories created are the property of TrendSetters Press.
WhoDunit terms:
Team
A group of three players and a moderator. You will need to select a writer, though being a real writer doesn’t matter. These teams will be comprised of both readers and writers.
Moderator
A TSP chat operator who will help you if you get stuck in the mystery, or any squabbles break out. They will also take the completed act from your writer and submit it to TSP.
Writer
A team member who gathers your notes. Does not need to be a real writer! At the end of the game, your story will be edited by one of our professional editors.
