Whilst we don’t have many rules, we’d appreciate it if you’d follow those we do have. TSP is a community we’re building for those who love to read as well as write. The back-and-forth will be incredibly useful for the latter.
We’re so glad you’re here!
Professional Conduct: The Golden Rule The most important rule at TSP is to respect other users. Literary debate and industry critiques are encouraged, but personal attacks are not.
The Cooling-Off Period: If a post makes you angry, wait before responding. Perspective often changes after a short break.
Focus on the Craft, Not the Person: Critique the writing, the argument, or the business strategy—never the individual. Direct and clear professional opinions are welcome; “virulent hate” is not.
The Empathy Test: If you would be furious to receive the comment you are about to send, do not post it.
From Trish: Our Community Value
At TrendSetters Press, we believe stories bring people together—and so should our community.
This is a space grounded in:
Respect. Inclusion. Creativity. Integrity.
We welcome readers and writers from all backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life. Everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and valued here.
We actively support and uplift diverse voices, including LGBTQ+, BIPOC, neurodivergent individuals, and underrepresented communities.
Kindness is our baseline. Always.
What’s Not Allowed
