A funny thing happened several years ago, on an interview I had with a new client. As a ghostwriter for 30+ years, I might have had one or two of the sort. I only rejected one type of client: a publisher. They be nasty! In that interview, I met a sweet, funny lady who had exited the womb with a book in her hand.
“I’ve always had writing in the back of my mind,” she said with that small smile of hers.
“Might be able to help with that,” I volunteered.
“Not right away, though. I just opened a new publishing house.”
Oh hell!
Welcome to the results of that short interview. Somehow, she con—er, talked me into Publisher, which I took reluctantly by tagging her with Executive Publisher. I returned the “joy” of that by training her to write. She’s a ghostwriter on Amazon and she hit NUMBER 1 several months ago! Meanwhile, we’ve been brainstorming a new sort of publishing site: one where avid readers can find truly fresh reads in many genres (much more to come,) and one with a section supporting writers (who get paid instead of the reverse.)
A publishing house created by manic readers and writers, in support of all writers. Even a new section where our readers will help write Whodunits! All voices. (Except the weird stuff: YOU know.) So finally here it is: TSP (Trendsetter’s Press). Our Executive Publisher is Trish Reavis, and me? I’m Cat LeDevic—PO Publisher (Plain Old.) We hope you’ll be as delighted with this site as we are!
